You should take all your usual medications unless instructed otherwise by your physician.

You must bring the order or requisition for the exam that was given to you by your physician.  You should also bring your insurance information and a compete list of your current medications.

It depends on the examination, however it is normally recommended to wear clothing without metal buttons, comfortable and easy to access your arm for blood pressure and IV injection’s if needed.

You must call the Radiology Department 24 hours in advance to request a CD or copy   of your films.  When you arrive to pick up your films you must have a picture ID with you. If someone other than you is picking up your films, you will need to provide them with a signed release.

Typically your physician will receive your results within 24 to 48 hours after your exam and will discuss the results with you.
