Lake Health to Present 8-week Stress Management Program

New Prostate Cancer Screening Guidelines Spark Confusion Among Patients & Debate Within Medical Community

CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio, July 30, 2012 - A recent U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommendation against routine prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood tests for healthy men, regardless of age, has left many men perplexed over how best to protect themselves from a cancer that will claim 28,000 U.S. lives this year. To help clarify public confusion, Lake Health board-certified urologist Frank Jevnikar, M.D., will discuss the new prostate screening guidelines and the latest treatment options at a free event on September 13 at 6 p.m. at TriPoint Medical Center.
