Community Culture
It may be hard to imagine, but people come to Lake County from all over the world. They come to work as physicians. They come to work in the high-tech or bioscience industries. Some come to further their education at one of Northeast Ohio’s many outstanding colleges and universities.
One reason may be our proximity to the Cleveland Hopkins International airport. But whatever the reason, Lake County is becoming a melting pot of religions and cultures, races and creeds. We have schools specifically for orthodox Jewish children and Syrian children, and we’re home to the Saint Mary Seminary. We welcome diversity and enjoy both the challenges and benefits it brings.
