Common complaints from patients with balance problems include:

• Dizziness after a head injury
• Inner ear problems
• Dizziness and imbalance from a stroke

Often, patients with balance problems are seen by many physicians before a correct diagnosis is made. Due to the lack of improvement, both physicians and patients get frustrated.

Lake Health offers the only comprehensive Balance Center in Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties. The center - located at TriPoint Medical Center and West Medical Center - provides a qualified staff fully trained to diagnose and treat balance problems. Caregivers include ENTs (ear, nose, throat physicians), audiologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.When you call for an appointment, you will be referred to the appropriate caregiver based on your symptoms.
