Lake Health Honored With Eight National Marketing Awards
CONCORD TWP., May 24, 2010 - Honored for excellence in health care advertising, Lake Health received eight national health care marketing awards, four from the Aster Awards and four from the Healthcare Advertising Awards competitions for its work last year related to changing its identity from Lake Hospital System to Lake Health and the opening of TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
In the Aster Awards competition, Lake Health was honored with one gold and three silver award recognitions. Lake Health won gold in Newspaper Advertising - Special Tabloid for the News-Herald TriPoint Medical Center Gatefold promoting the opening of TriPoint; silver in Special Events for the TriPoint Medical Center Community Open House, which attracted 7,000 community members who wanted to see the new state-of-the-art healing hospital; silver in Virtual Tours for the TriPoint Medical Center Virtual Tours that can be viewed on www.lakehealth.org, and silver in Pocket Folder for the newly redesigned Lake Health Corporate Pocket Folder.
The Aster Awards, one of the largest national competitions of its kind, is hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc. and recognizes outstanding health care professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts.
In addition to the Aster Awards, Lake Health was honored with one silver and three merit award recognitions from Healthcare Advertising Awards. Lake Health received a silver award in Employee Communication Program for its Team Member Engagement Kit, which was used to educate team members on Lake Health’s new brand/corporate identity; merit in Newspaper Insert for the News-Herald TriPoint Medical Center Gatefold, merit in Logo/Letterhead for the Lake Health Corporate Identity Program; and merit in Patient Handbook for its Patient Admission Folder.
The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest, and most widely respected health care advertising awards competition.
