Emergency Department and Chapel At TriPoint Medical Center To Be Named In Families' Honor
CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio, August 23, 2011-The Lake Health Foundation today announced that it has received a significant donation from the Brunner, Sanden, & Deitrick families for their generous donation in support of emergency services at TriPoint Medical Center.
Both the emergency department and chapel at TriPoint Medical Center will be named after the families, who are longtime residents of the area and own Lake County's largest funeral service company, Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Lake Health Foundation is not releasing the amount of the donation at the request of the families.
"Even in these tough economic times, it's important for us to give back to our community who has supported us over the past 62 years," Nancy Brunner Sanden said.
Sunny Masters, executive director of the Lake Hospital Foundation, expressed the Foundation's gratitude for this important gift.
"The Brunner, Sanden, & Deitrick families epitomize this community's spirit of leadership and goodwill," said Masters. "We're extremely grateful for the families' generous gift, which will further augment the leading edge, life-saving emergency services at TriPoint Medical Center."
In addition to this gift, the families have made a previous donation to support the chapel at West Medical Center.
"The Lake Health Board of Trustees and I are very appreciative of the families' generosity. It's through the support of donors like them that Lake Health can continue to deliver the highest quality care to the communities we serve," said Cynthia Moore-Hardy, FACHE, president and CEO of Lake Health.
