2011 Salon Alliance
Benefiting Breast Health Services

October was Breast Health Awareness Month. The Foundation works with local salons to raise awareness of Breast Cancer - a non-discriminatory disease. Members of the Salon Alliance also raise funds to benefit Breast Health Services for Lake Health. Many participating salons promoted Breast Health Awareness by hosting an event unique to their salon. Proceeds from these events were returned to Lake Health Foundation. Proceeds are expected to reach nearly $19,000! This surpasses all prior years! Those participating salons are listed below.

Many of the salons, along with Sandy's Hair Studio II, were drop-off sites for the Bra Recycling program during the entire month of October. The salons donations, along with the bra donations made directly to Lake Health, totaled 1,672 bras surpassing the goal of 1,000! THANK YOU!
