CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio, August 26, 2011 - Now that fall is upon us, it's time to start thinking about getting your annual flu shot. While everyone is now recommended to receive influenza vaccine, high-risk patients—pregnant women, those with asthma, diabetes, or other chronic conditions—remain at risk for serious complications from influenza. The seasonal flu vaccine will protect against an influenza A H3N2 virus, an influenza B virus and the H1N1 virus.
Beginning Monday, August 29, Lake Health will be offering seasonal flu shots for $25 at the Tyler Urgent Care Center, 7956 Tyler Blvd., Mentor; the Willowick Campus, 29804 Lake Shore Blvd.; and the Chardon Campus, 510 Fifth Avenue:
8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday
9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday
Painesville Quick Care Center, 74 South Park Place, during the following regular hours:
8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday
The Clinic at Middlefield, located inside Walmart Supercenter, 15050 Springdale Avenue; and The Clinic at Madison, located inside Walmart Supercenter, 6067 North Ridge Road, during the following regular hours:
8 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday through Friday
8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday
12 p.m. - 6 p.m., Sunday
Perry Walk-in Care Center, Two Success Blvd., during the following regular hours:
9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
