Baked Apple Cider Donuts

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup egg substitute
- 1/2 cup unsweetened, plain applesauce
- 1 cup chopped apples
- 1/3 cup low-fat buttermilk
- 1/3 cup apple cider
- 1/8 cup honey
- 1/8 cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp melted butter

Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray donut pan with cooking spray.
In a small bowl, mix together the two flours, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. In a larger bowl, mix together the egg substitute, applesauce, chopped apples, buttermilk, cider, honey, maple syrup, and melted butter. Mix well. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes or until the donuts spring back when touched.
Remove from pan and cool before serving.
