Concord Township, OH, September 25, 2012 - Lake Health was recently honored by Northeast Ohio's largest employer association, the Employers Resource Council, as one of NorthCoast 99's "Best Places to Work in Northeast Ohio" for the eleventh year in a row.
NorthCoast 99 is an annual recognition program that honors organizations in the 22-county Northeast Ohio region that have implemented programs that attract, retain and create a high level of employee satisfaction. Companies were nominated by their employees and then were asked to provide a detailed description of their programs, policies, benefits, and what makes them unique from an employee attraction, retention and satisfaction perspective.
Nominated companies were evaluated against each other in different categories including: compensation and benefits, employee communication, community service, diversity, recruitment and selection, training and development, and workplace health and safety.
"We're thrilled to once again be named one of the 99 best workplaces for top talent in Northeast Ohio. As the largest employer in Lake County, we are committed to providing a work environment that is responsive to our team members and allows them to nurture and develop their talents," said Cynthia Moore-Hardy, president and CEO of Lake Health. "It's their dedication, knowledge, and commitment to providing extraordinary patient- and family-centered care that have been the driving force behind our success."
