PAINESVILLE, OH, April 7, 2009 -  Andrea Wasdovich, BA, BSN, MSHA has been named Vice President of Perioperative, Critical Care Services and Emergency Medicine for Lake Health.  She will be responsible for guiding and directing the clinical and medical departments for the pre-operative, operating room, same day surgery, and its associated services of anesthesia, pre-admissions testing and endoscopy services.  She will also be responsible for critical care, step down, dialysis and emergency medicine.

Ms. Wasdovich comes to Lake Health with over 17 years of leadership experience with a strong background in hospital administration in both the ambulatory and in-patient settings.  She previously held leadership positions at Hillcrest Hospital, Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals.

Ms. Wasdovich earned her bachelor of science degree in Nursing at Graceland University in Iowa and her masters of science degree in Health Administration at the Kennedy-Western University in California.
